Almost seems like its own original piece

You changed up the instruments so much that I almost forgot that this song was based on something. I still like it a lot as a song. It's kinda cool how you managed to put that much originality into it.

Shanath responds:

Hope to do more original pieces in the future, though! Glad you liked it!

Blast you

The previous guy's right, this makes me want to play sacred stones again, too. Also I didn't see this working with electronic sounds either, but I like this better than the versions for the newer fire emblem games any day.

A fresh take on the song

After playing melee quite a lot and playing through fire emblem several times, this song is quite stale to me, however you made this your own enough that it was enjoyable to listen to.

Good pick

Keep up the good work. It takes talent to consistently write good remixes to songs by an expert like Yuzo Koshiro. I'm looking forward to more remixes from Castlevania Portrait of Ruin.

friends don't let friends miss oppurtunities.

Your friend is awesome to have inspired you to write this great remix to this great song. Don't have much to say other than good job. High five that friend of yours too.

Nothing short of great

This is exactly what I've been looking for for a while. Why the blast are an acapella version and a techno version of this higher rated? This sticks to the true nature of the song while using more epic versions of the old instruments.

Original and great

Bravo. You managed to maintain the quality of the original song and you added your own large changes as well. The most notable was when you threw in that violin- that nearly gave me a heart attack. As the song continued you also flawlessly blended all of the instruments and made everything work. Even 3 minutes in it's still blowing my mind.

Blast!

My bro, PHantomHP showed me this song and I might have cried a little bit. The best part is at 1:30 where it slows down to a perfectly sounding dramatic part and then it transitions back into its full blown epicness. Every time I hit this song on my shuffle, I have to repeat it at least a dozen times, in fact this song has its own playlist that I use for writing.

Excellent

At times it seems a bit over the top, but I really like all of the parts where the song slows down. If this is your first, then keep up the good work!

Mindblasting

My bro, PHantomHP, recommended this song and I was not disappointed. I was a bit skeptical when I heard the single instrument start off with a slow opening, but then you hit hard with a perfectly executed transition into an amazing remix of the normal melody. Thanks for making my evening with this.

Shanath responds:

Haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :3
